Canadian Beauty Products We Love

We’re at no loss for great beauty products, but to rally national pride, we’ve taken a look at a few of the Canadian beauty products we can’t do without. So while The Bay’s Olympic gear has fashion covered, here’s Canada’s answer to the wide world of beauty.

1. Elizabeth Grant Moisturizing Stick, $12
For soft, hydrated lips, opt for the Elizabeth Grant Moisturizing Stick that contains honey, chamomile, algae extract, avocado oil and Torricelum, the brand’s special moisturizing ingredient. Apply whenever you want, and even on top of lip stains to lock in colour and keep lips looking their best.

2. Lush Canadian Maple Soap, $7.95
If you’re really hoping to infuse some Canadiana into your beauty regimen, you’ll want to check out Lush’s Canadian Maple Soap, which is actually infused with Canadian maple syrup. Sprinkled with coffee sugar crystals, the soap is also vegan, and contains tangerine and coconut oils for added moisture.

3. Cake Satin Sweet Sugar Dry Shampoo, $22
We’ve all needed to skip a day of shampooing, but instead of dealing with the aftermath, pick up Cake’s Satin Sweet Sugar Dry Shampoo. Hair is lifted as the invisible powder absorbs excess oil, while ingredients like chamomile and calendula work to soothe and condition your hair and scalp. Residue free, the only thing left behind is a scent of lemons, vanilla and sugar.
