If there’s one thing your hair needs during the winter, it’s moisture. “You may find that in the winter, your current shampoo and conditioner might not be as nourishing as you require,” says Ford. “Switch up your conditioner to something that is more nourishing and moisturizing.” As an added dose of hair care, add a mask that will also nourish your scalp and help to prevent any discomfort and irritation caused by the weather. Ford recommends Kérastase Specifique Masque Hydra-Apaisant ($58, available at professional salons).
