Video: Fall Makeup Tutorial

Wondering what makeup looks are hot for fall? We asked MAC Senior Makeup Artists, Melissa Gibson, to show us the latest looks for this upcoming season. In this video tutorial, Gibson shows me how to go from day to night with MAC’s StyleSeeker collection

Daytime look: To start Gibson applied a layer of gold eye shadow (MAC Culturalized Eye Shadow x2) all over my lid and then went back with a brown shadow in the outer corner of my eye. She highlighted with an ivory in the inner corners of my eyes and under the brow. She used a fine-combed mascara to give me long and luscious lashes. She applied a bright blush (MAC Powder Blush in Hidden Treasures) with a soft brush for a natural look, and finished off with a nude lip (MAC Mattene Lipstick in Delectable).

Evening look: She layered this look on top of my exisiting daytime makeup. She started with a black eyeliner (MAC Fluidline) and applied it with an eye shadow brush above the lash line, as well as below the lash line under my eyes. She then took a beautiful plum eye shadow (MAC Marche aux Puces Eye Shadow x2) and applied it all over the lid and extended it in a square shape on the outter parts of my eyes to create an interesting geometric smokey eye. Gibson finished off with a red lip gloss (MAC Lipglass in Ready to Roam). MAC’s StyleSeeker collection is in stores now.
